Journey of Recovery

National Recovery Month is celebrated every September to honor those struggling with addictive disorders and working toward a journey of Recovery.

It is also an opportunity for those who have lost loved ones to the horrendous disease of addiction to honor their memory.

Catholic Charities hosted a sit-down dinner for our current clients and alumni, where the staff serve them a meal and the clients share stories of individual journeys and successes.

Some wrote poems, songs and used journal entries, while others spoke from the heart.

There are also pictures of the dedicated nurses and clinicians of the Hampton Bays clinic that make it all possible!

We hope this gives a little insight into how Addiction Treatment Services celebrates Recovery, despite all the hardship associated with it.

Much is at stake for those individuals struggling with addiction. Catholic Charities offers treatment and support to help these individuals reclaim their lives through all stages of the recovery process using a person-centered model.  Our programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
