Much is at stake for those individuals struggling with addiction. Catholic Charities offers treatment and support to help these individuals reclaim their lives through all stages of the recovery process using a person-centered model. Our programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
Talbot House – Residential Stabilization Program
Talbot House is a voluntary residential stabilization program that provides medically monitored withdrawal stabilization services and clinical support for adults 18 years of age and older. The program offers withdrawal management utilizing medication-assisted treatment, individual and group counseling, psychiatric evaluations, medication monitoring, nursing assessments and care, support groups, vocational counseling/insurance counseling, and family support. In addition, the clinical team provides a referral and warm handoff for those transitioning to another level of care once they are stabilized. Limited transportation is available if needed.
Eligibility
18 years of age or older.
In need of withdrawal management or stabilization treatment for a substance use disorder, co-occurring disorder or feels at risk for relapse.
Hampton Bays Outpatient Program
Our Hampton Bays Outpatient Program utilizes a person-centered approach to help individuals develop their own goals toward recovery. Service delivery includes comprehensive assessments, individual counseling, group counseling, DWI assessments and treatment, nursing assessments, peer services, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment. The program also provides a track of treatment for family members, friends, and significant others who are directly affected by the addiction of their loved ones. All of these services are also provided in Spanish.
Eligibility
18 years of age or older.
Struggling with a substance use disorder, at risk for relapse, or someone in your life is struggling with a substance use disorder and it is affecting you.
Fees
Our programs accept Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, Medicare, and most third-party commercial insurances, as well as offer a sliding scale fee.
