Food and Nutrition
CSFP provides more than 8,200 free food packages each month to low-income seniors throughout Long Island. In addition, CSFP offers clients guidance in preparing nutritious meals, cooking demonstrations, information provided by nutritionists, and referrals to health care and social service agencies for other needed services.
Every weekday, the Catholic Charities Meals-On-Wheels program delivers hot, nutritious meals to the homebound in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Nutrition Outreach Education Project (NOEP)
The food stamp program helps families meet their monthly food costs with convenient electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards that can be used like cash at most grocery stores.
Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)
Our Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program provides food assistance, nutrition education, and health screenings with referrals to women and children who are at nutritional risk.
